Well folks I am absolutely jealous of all of you who are going to Louisville but at the same time I am happy for you. We went last year for the first time and had a time of our lives and met some great people. For you first timers you will not be disappointed. We had planned on going to Washington D/C this year instead and as plans change unfortunately we are no longer together. But I promised myself I will try to get to Washington anyway. Have a safe trip everyone, have a great time (which I know you will) and sing and dance your hearts out. Oh and have one for me.

Dear Ones, Can't wait for us all to Come Together at Abbey Road on the River. I just from Vincenzo's for tonight's little informal "launch" party of AROTR fans/bands/folks. We have a "special" for tonight and a lovely price Vincenzo has given us--$15 plus gratuity for Vincenzo's marvelous food. So, if you wish to join us for food, or your favorite adult beverage, you and anyone you want to ask to join in are invited to come to Vincenzo's Italian Restaurant, 150 South 5th Street, Louisville, KY 40202-3102; 502-580-1350 http://www.vincenzositalianrestaurant.com/
and here's their excellent menu: http://www.vincenzositalianrestaurant.com/pages/menu/dinner-menu/antipasti.php
The entrance to the Belvedere is at 5th and Main. Vincenzo's is one block south at 5th and Market. The Courtyard at Vincenzo's is halfway to the corner, so literally it is ½ block away from the entrance to the Belvedere.

We are all so excited! Have been Beatle-d up for weeks now, with CDs in the car, and videos and Rockband in the house. Videos have been so heavy on AROTR footage that we've almost forgotten to watch some "real" Beatles. To the kids, though, everyone at AROTR are The Beatles, at least in spirit.

Watching Savoy Truffle right now. Where else but AROTR are you going to see Tomorrow Never Knows?

Thanks all to answers to my questions with the
exception of, "Are credit cards accepted for
ticket purchased at the gate????"

If not, I need to get to the bank today!!!!
Since we have not been to AROTR Louisville
before, we are unsure if only cash is accepted
for tickets and food or if cc's are welcomed.

I prefer cc as it's just easier, but someone
please advise me!!!

We are leaving Ct. at 4am and hoping to arrive
in Louisville Wed. night by 8pm.

Thanks for all of your help in planning our
Beatle Journey!!

Couple of questions from the newbies to AROTR..

We are purchasing the BEST 5 day tickets at the
door. Can we use credit cards or is it cash-
only?

We are planning on arriving in time for the
Roof Top Concert on Thursday. Do we need to
purchase our 5 Day Best Tickets BEFORE the
roof top concert or is the rooftop concert open
to anyone so ticket not required?

Are there seats for people with the 5 Day Best
Ticket at all venue'/s or do you suggest we
bring lawn chairs?

Thanks and hope to meet most of you there.

Mr Fish what a surprise it was to see You Know My Name Look Up The Number, that is at least as hard as our request for Crackerbox Palace. We talked about it an agreed that the band who pulled off Number Nine would have a good chance of doing it since the tape loops are similar at least in technique only, if you don't hear you song see All You Need I Love do the white album since this may get you your fix. Now everyone's homework is to smile and dance to start stirring this great recipe for love and happiness, love you all and the best of AROTR to everyone. Is it Thursday yet?

Hello,

The festivities are a couple of weeks away, and I just wanted to extend an advanced welcome to the out-of-town visitors. If you've been here before, you know what to expect and have obviously enjoyed yourself since you keep coming back! To the newly-inducted Abbey Roaders, I hope you come to discover that we are a nice bunch in the Kentuckiana area. Seems we are known for our friendliness; I hope that's a tangible truth!

I read a few weeks ago, an earlier comment, that someone recommended going to 4th Street Live for additional food/entertainment choices. While that is an option, I wanted to add another choice: check out Louisville's local restaurants/stores/shops. I am not affiliated with any Kentuckiana businesses other than A) I patronize places when I can and B) I care about my area and want others to share in my passion for it.

I understand that staying in the festival area and hitting up 4th Street is a convenient thing to do (time a big consideration, of course), but I encourage you to explore other areas of the city, particularly Baxter Avenue/Bardstown Road and Franfort Avenue areas. On Bards you'll see it's a funkier area compared to the rest of the city; I suppose we could put it this way: if you're a fan of the White Album or avant garde Lennon vibes, this place is for you. Check it out. There's Cafe 360, Ear X-Tacy (a fantastic local music store, a *real* music store), Kizito cookies ('cause I dig those cookies), numerous restaurants of different ethnic flavors--have some sushi, have some pizza, "Burritos as big as your head", I could go on and on and do it no justice. For more funkier vibes, check out Lynn's Paradise Cafe on Barrett Avenue (connected in the same area); you can't miss it, you'll see a giant tea pot out front with other kitschy stuff. The food is excellent!

And let's not forget the "iana" part of Kentuckiana. If you have the guts and great navigational skills to cross over to Indiana, particularly the 2nd Street (George Rogers Clark) bridge, you will find some nice restaurants in Jeffersonville. Rocky's is a casual but kick-ass Italian restaurant, and King Fish is an excellent fish place. To boot, there's a lovely view of the Louisville skyline as you cruise along the riverside.

Well, I'm sorry if that came off as a blatant advertisement. I mean, it is in a way, but it is an enthusiastic plea to go beyond the norm and take a walk on the weird side. Please enjoy Kentuckiana, enjoy Abbey Road, long live the Fab Four!
